The company designed the updated “Meta AI” version, supported by the company’s new “Muse Spark 1.1” model, to understand user conditions and perform tasks without the need for constant guidance.
According to Meta, the new updates to the artificial intelligence model will help provide daily feedback by summarizing the day’s events, and can be adjusted for repetitive tasks such as weekly meal plans or updates of popular content.
The company is initially launching these capabilities in specific markets through the “Meta AI” application and the “Meta.AI” website, in addition to plans to expand to more regions and platforms, including “WhatsApp.”
The company that owns the Facebook platform said users retain control over how they interact with artificial intelligence, and incognito mode chats remain available for secret conversations.
“This is our next step towards personal superintelligence: artificial intelligence that knows your circumstances and is available to you when you need it,” Meta said in a post on her blog.
Separately, the company on Friday launched a new application called “Seller” to provide customized sales tools for sellers using the company’s “Facebook Store” platform.
It’s worth noting that Meta is scheduled to release its second quarter results after the market closes on July 29.
